Ascension

"Ascensión" is a hybrid artwork comprising a digital painting and a complementary allegorical text, each printed on separate wooden panels. QR codes embedded in both panels invite the viewer to interact with digital extensions of the work, including translations enhanced with augmented reality and a 3D experience.

Panel 1: The Allegory

This panel features *The Allegory of the Ice Woman*, a text developed in collaboration with artificial intelligence and written in the style of biblical scripture. It serves as a poetic meditation on global warming and human responsibility. The accompanying QR code unlocks multilingual translations via augmented reality, broadening its reach and impact.

Panel 2: The Image

Inspired by the story, the artist created a digital painting of the Ice Woman, first sculpted in virtual reality and then printed on wood. Both serene and radiant, the figure conveys both fragility and power. Through augmented reality, viewers can access a 3D version of the sculpture, revealing intricate details that would otherwise remain hidden in the 2D print.

"Ascension" explores the potential of AI as a conceptual collaborator, while highlighting the essential role of human authorship. It is both a reflection on the ecological crisis and an experiment in the constantly evolving dialogue between technology and creativity, inviting viewers to reflect on the narratives we construct in the face of change.
