Hello World!

Description

The piece is an augmented reality activation that portrays a particular experience I had, following an invitation I received to visit a virtual art gallery. After several weeks of being confined to my house due to the pandemic, I found it extremely attractive to break with the imposed routine and meet another person, even if it was in a virtual space. What I had not contemplated was that the interaction in the virtual world would make me realize that my pre-covid reality had changed and that something as basic as my way of interacting face to face with other people had been reprogrammed.

In computing, a Hello World!program is one that prints the text "Hello, World!" on a display device, in most cases a monitor screen. This program is usually used as an introduction to the study of a programming language, being a typical first exercise, and is considered fundamental from a didactic point of view.[1]
